Aeatye™ 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Desktop Switch with Metal Housing
NETWORK CONNECTIVITY · ORDER AT THE DESK
Five Connections. One Considered Setup.
A compact desktop switch with a brushed silver appearance, a dark front panel, and five clearly arranged Ethernet ports.
A computer, printer, and entertainment setup can quickly turn the back of a desk into a tangle. The Aeatye™ desktop switch brings the connection points together in a small, straightforward enclosure. Its front-facing layout keeps the ports easy to find, while the silver-and-black finish fits naturally beside modern desktop equipment.
Five Front-Facing Ports
See the full connection layout without reaching behind the enclosure.
Compact Desktop Form
Keep the switch close to the equipment it connects on an open, level surface.
Visible Link Indicators
Check the model's indicator guide when identifying a connected port.
A Coordinated Finish
The silver housing and dark port panel complement a restrained workstation.

Bring the Connection Points Together
Use a switch to organize compatible wired devices around an existing network. One of its ports connects back to that network; the remaining ports serve other equipment. A clear layout makes it easier to trace a cable later, change a device, or keep the network gear separate from the rest of the desk.

A CLOSER LOOK
Details That Shape the Setup
Room for Each Plug
Leave clearance at the front so cable latches remain accessible.
Ventilated Sides
Keep the visible ventilation openings clear rather than stacking accessories against them.
A Simple Port Count
The five-port layout includes the port used for the upstream connection; it is not five device ports plus an extra uplink.

Find Its Place in Your Routine
Workstation
Group compatible computers and a network printer near the desk.
Media Shelf
Organize wired connections for supported entertainment devices.
Small Project Area
Keep a temporary local-network setup accessible while working.
A Considered Start
-
Plan the Connections
Reserve a port for the link to the existing network. -
Match the Equipment
Check the actual power requirements, port capabilities, and cable type. -
Connect Carefully
Follow the supplied instructions and avoid unintended network loops. -
Label the Runs
Identify each cable so future changes are easier to follow.
Before You Choose
Does the switch replace a router?
A basic Ethernet switch connects devices within a network. It does not independently provide an Internet subscription or the functions of an Internet router.
Does an illuminated link prove Internet access?
No. A link indication concerns the local connection; the upstream network and service must also be working.
Care and Use
Keep the enclosure dry, leave airflow around it, and unplug power before cleaning. Verify any powered-device or PoE requirement against the actual model documentation.
